Su-Seung-hwa-gang means “Water Up, Fire Down”. This is the core principle for human health. When the body is in balance, the cool water energy travels upward toward the head along the back side of the body, while the hot fire energy flows down the front side of the body to the lower abdomen. This is the complete cycle of energy circulation. By repeating this circulation, life maintains its balance and continuity.

I had an energry evaluation when I first came to the Dahn Center. At that time I was told that my body was out of balance, and that my belly was cold and my head was hot. Frankly, I really didn’t even understand. I mean, it made sense, but my body had always been that way, and I actually thought that was normal. Then I started training, and when I could feel energy more, I recognized my condition, and I now know how out of balance my body was. (It still is a little bit, but not like it used to be). I think the intestinal exercises and tapping are so great, and so simple! I really love going to class. I feel so much healthier now than when I started.
