Loving And Healing Experience

About three years ago I happened upon the Dahn yoga center in downtown Seattle, where I was living at the time. I went in to check it out and returned a few days later for my energy check. When I learned that a focus of Dahn practice was integration of body, mind, and spirit, I knew I wanted to try it. I joined immediately and have been reaping the benefits ever since. Physically my body is stronger and more flexible. I can even do pushups and handstands, which I have never been able to do before. Mentally my mind is clearer and not so cluttered with constant meaningless chatter. And spiritually I have progressed tremendously. From the beginning I loved the positive, warm, loving energy in the Dahn center. When I injured my back a few weeks after joining, I continued to go to class, even though I couldn’t physically do much. I really believe that helped my back to heal more rapidly than it otherwise would have.

Shortly after joining the Dahn center, I heard about the Ilchi Lee Dahn Healer School. I was immediately intrigued by the thought of being able to be a healer, and I enrolled in the course a few months later. What an incredible learning and healing experience! Just being at Mago Garden is a loving and healing experience in itself. And the instructors and staff are superb.

Also since I joined Dahn, I have attended several workshops: Healing Chakra, Initial Awakening, More Than Body, and Shim Sung. Each of the workshops helped me to grow considerably, and helped me to release a tremendous amount of emotional weight that I had carried around for years. I feel so much freer and more peaceful. I have also served on the staff of several Shim Sung workshops, and each one is another inspiring and growing experience.

Two years ago I moved from Seattle to Sedona and transferred my Dahn membership to the Sedona center. This is now my Dahn home, and I love it here just as I did my original center in Seattle.
