from the Mountain View Dahn Yoga Blog
Through Shim-Sung was a huge experience for me; a time of great growth of finding my true self.
I created the feelings of peace, love and enlightenment.
I realized that all the negative information, emotions and obstacles I have had were not the real me, that there is something beautiful deep inside me.
Something that is very precious that my heart smiles, full of joy and happiness that I’ll hold dearly and treat affectionately all my life.
I’ll take this opportunity to thank Kim Jiwonjangnim (Headmaster Kim) and all the practitioners in the Dahn Yoga Center in Mountain View for all the support. I’ll continue my sincerity and practice to the center.

I really like going to my yoga classes. I look forward to each class. What I like about the Dahn Yoga, is that every class is so different. I have a choice of taking a Intestinal Healing Class, Tai Chi, Regular Yoga, or a Vibration Training class. All are so different from one another, yet all very good. In every class I feel like I am expending so much energy, and really should be empty by the end of class - but the opposite is true. I always feel more energy! It’s so amazing. That is why I look forward to going…I get a great work out, but I also get energized. I think this would benefit so many people!

Dahn Yoga is new for me. I had gone with a friend to another type of yoga, and it was the kind where they make the room so hot. It was okay at first, but then it got so hot that I really thought that I might pass out. I had to leave. So, I kept looking, and found this wonderful place. The instructors are so kind and gentle. The classes are done in such a way that anyone could take any class and benefit from each one.

I recently moved here from California, and while in CA., my daughter went to the Brain Education Classes at the Dahn Yoga Center. Wow, what a terific difference that training made in my little girl. It gave her so much confidence. Also, she learned alot about her body and her brain. I want to sign her up again here in Las Vegas, but I really wish they would start using this great program in the schools. It would help so much.

Great training, especially the Monday class. The Monday class helps strengthen your intestinal area (and it does a lot more), but the strengthening part was what I needed. Man, that is tougher than I would have thought a yoga class could be. Kicked my butt! And I loved it, at the end of the class, I felt really good. I can’t wait for next weeks class.

I started Dahn Yoga because I was so stiff. My neck and back and shoulders hurt me constantly. Also, I couldn’t sleep very well. After my very first class, I slept so much better. At first I was still stiff and sore, but the more classes I took, the more relaxed and more comfortable my body felt. I only wish I had discovered this so many years ago!

I went to the HSP Olympiad for Brain Education in New York in August. The Kids involved were spectacular. They really seemed to be having a lot of fun expanding their brain capabilities. The atmosphere was very similar to that of the Capsule Training. Very Positive, Alive, Fun and Insiteful.

I feel so different since I started doing Dahn yoga about a year & 1/2 ago I hardly remember. And I don’t want to remember, because it was just getting by (and those were the good days). Stress, lack of focus, apathy, and cancer for the 2nd time. Things weren’t right. Good job(well it pays at least), good husband (mostly) and great parents (who don’t live here)…yet I was very miserable. But if my breast cancer hadn’t come back I probably would have forged on and sucked it up like a good little Irish girl. Life is hard, deal with it. But I wasn’t. And I was sick. Then I got lucky, very lucky…I found this program, which has taught me how to heal myself. Hey who knew? You mean I have other options? Yeah take responsiblity for your own health. Ok, ok, ok I can do that, because more chemo, radiation and God knows what else are not pleasant…in the least. As a matter of fact @#@$* more chemo and radiation!

I’m really happy to be able to go to Dahn Yoga. I used to do yoga at my local gym, and I thought it was ok, and then a friend asked me to go with her to her Dahn Yoga class, and what a difference! The gym yoga was mostly just stretching, which I enjoyed, but the Dahn yoga is so much more. We do stretching for our physical, mental and spirit. I no longer go to the gym for yoga, I go to the gym to lift weights, and go to the Dahn center for more than stretching.
