Here you can read about practitioners of Brain Wave Vibration who have improved their mental health along with their physical health. Many have found centeredness within them and have gained control over the emotions that have negative effects on their lives. People improve their personal relationships, they overcome depression, and they are able to break debilitating, negative habits. And, after only a few weeks of training, most people report improved focus and cognitive skill.
Focus
Lack of ability to concentrate is probably one of the most common mental problems of modern society. With so many distractions, it is a wonder that anyone can concentrate on anything. Brain Wave Vibration can help you build your ability to focus by clearing out the static in your brain caused by the constant bombardment of information.
For me, it is a quiet time, even with the sound of vibrating drums, a time to quiet my mind without interruption from my thoughts. The healing vibration stays with me throughout the day. Taking three minutes at home to practice Brain Wave Vibration brings me back into balance again (These lines written by Dawn Skong, Springfield, VA).

It is a good idea to do 100 to 200 repetitions at the beginning of any Brain Wave Vibration session in order to stability and center your energy. This exercise can also be completed in a variety of postures, including lying on your back or on your side. As you shift position, you will notice a difference in the sensation as it targets different parts of the body. It small black-and-blue marks appear on your abdomen, don’t worry—it is normal and will disappear after a few days of practice.
Shake out your arms and legs to relax completely. Stand with your feet parallel and shoulder-width apart. Bend your knees slightly. Curl your pelvis upward so that you feel a slight tension in the lower abdomen. Focus your mind on the area a couple of inches below your navel and two inches inside the body.
Cup your hands slightly and begin to rhythmically strike the lower abdomen area with both palms. Begin with 100 strikes. You may increase the number and force of the strikes as you progress.

Touch your heels together, tap your toes together, and then part the toes again, trying to touch the sides of the feet on the ground. Repeat several times in quick succession. Adjust speed on the motion depending on comfort level, but repeat at least 50 times without stopping.
When you begin to feel fatigued, slowly stop tapping and rest. Feel the subtle vibration going through the end of the toes to the knees, thighs, hips, and waist and to the top of the head. Challenge yourself to do a greater number of repetitions each time you practice.
Energy Meditation
This exercise will help you learn to sense the presence of energy. Its traditional name, Ji-gam, means “stop thinking,” and this is essentially the goal—to stop thinking. It requires deep, relaxed concentration, the perfect remedy for stressed-out brains. You should be as relaxed as possible before attempting this exercise, so stretch your body or use other forms of Brain Wave Vibration before you begin.

This is another form of Brain Wave Vibration that can help heal many physical problems, including headaches, insomnia, and circulation problems. Like Abdominal Vibration, Toe-Tap Vibration helps return the body’s energy balance to a healthy state by bringing energy down to the lower body. It is also a very good mind-body coordination exercise.
Toe-Tap Vibration is also a great brain-body coordination exercise. Because the feet are so far away from the brain, you may find that at first they do not want to cooperate! But keep working at it and keep trying to increase your speed and the evenness of the rhythm.

The feet also contain a wide variety of acupressure points that are stimulated during this exercise. Because all the energy lines in the body end in the feet, you can energize your whole body when you stimulate your feet.
1. Lie down on the floor comfortably. Place your arms and legs on the floor and close your eves. Breathe in and out several times to release excess tension.
2. As you are lying there, gently shake your head from side to side, allowing your shoulders, arms, legs, and your whole body to relax. Imagine that all your stress is melting into the ground.
Inhale through your nose and exhale through your mouth, making a whooshing sound. Repeat this 3 times.

It is important to note that not all empowering information is beneficial. Empowering information may help your true self, or it may simply build your ego, which is the product of your false self. For example, I could say to you, “You are smarter and better than everyone else in the world.” That is indeed empowering information. However, you can see how it is not information that will help you grow and improve yourself. You must be wary of the ego as you choose information because it can mislead you easily, even causing you to be offended by empowering information that will help you achieve your highest self. Disregard information that does not propel you toward your highest self. Learn to differentiate that which contributes to your true self from that which appeals to you only on the egoistic level.
Another tendency of the ego is to collect information just for the sake of stockpiling an impressive array of knowledge. Knowledge can be a helpful tool, but hording it only clouds the mind and distracts you from your highest intentions.

The goal of Brain Wave Vibration is to completely quiet the mind so that the latent powers of the brain can come to the forefront. However, this is not so easy for most people, since they are accustomed to constant, habitual chatter in their minds. Instead of vainly trying to shut off your mind, you can concentrate on a single positive thought. Choose something highly empowering that relates to your personal vision. For example, it could be something as simple as, “I am whole. I am one.” Chant this to yourself, either silently or aloud, as a personal mantra while you practice. Through this process, the vibrations of your own voice will add to the overall effect on your brain waves and will strengthen your transformational intent. If you have any weakness, pain, or disease in your body, you can also say the name of that particular body part as you practice Brain Wave Vibration. For example, if you are having a problem with your heart, then repeat a simple, affirmative statement, such as “Healthy heart, healthy heart.”
Breathe well.
Because of our rushed, stressful way of life, most of us do not breathe properly. Our breath becomes shallow and unstable. Do not force your breath, but locus on breathing naturally while you are practicing Brain Wave Vibration. Focus on exhaling completely because this will help you release tension from the body Also, open your mouth a little bit to allow your breath to flow freely. Imagine that you are expelling all the negative energy from your body through your mouth and nose.

Strictly speaking, Brain Wave Vibration practice does not require music. It is about your own internal rhythms, not about moving to a beat as you would when you dance. However, music can be helpful when you begin. Obviously, very slow and sentimental music is not suitable for the vibration. The most effective music for Brain Wave Vibration is music with a strong basic beat, such as that found in many forms of traditional drumming. I find Korean sa-mul-no-ri to be especially effective because it awakens the brain with a lively combination of sounds from gongs and drums, generating a powerful vibration that you can feel throughout your body.
In addition to sa-mul-no-ri. Percussive folk instrument from Africa and South America otter a simple, primitive repetition of sound that replicates the basic rhythms of life. Music is helpful to induce the proper state of mind for Brain Wave Vibration in the beginning, but as time goes by, the rhythm of the body should overpower the rhythm of the music. Be sure to focus inward at all times and allow your own rhythm to come forward.

You can practice Brain Wave Vibration just about anywhere, but you will find that different locations provide different effects. You can easily practice right at your desk with simple versions of Brain Wave Vibration, such as the Head Nod, even in the middle of a busy office. However, sometimes you may wish to go more deeply into the vibration than that sort of environment will allow. In that case, it is ideal to practice in a quiet place with few distractions where no one will interrupt. If you have a chance to do so, it is also a good idea to practice with others at a training center. When practicing with others, a resonance of the brain waves occurs that deepens the experience and enhances the effect.
Be confident.
This method is so simple that it can be mastered just by reading this book. However, when trying it for the first time, it is natural to feel awkward about the process and to wonder if your posture is correct. You may worry about looking silly, or you may have some doubts about the method’s validity. Try to empty your mind of these thoughts and just follow the natural wisdom of your body. Remember that there is no right or wrong way to practice. If you are sincere and are willing to focus on yourself, your results will be excellent.
