Victoria's Secret supermodel returns to pre-baby figure by practicing yoga

For many women, getting pregnant means losing the figure they had before delivering their babies. Carrying a son or daughter for nine months can result in increased weight and stretch marks for ladies all over the world.

The results of exercise and a nutritious diet may be frustratingly gradual, and seeing supermodels and actresses immediately drop their baby weight after childbirth may not be easy either.

However, Victoria's Secret beauty Miranda Kerr, who almost instantly returned to her pre-baby figure after giving birth to son Flynn, is willing to share a secret that may help other moms – taking yoga.

According to the Sydney Morning Herald, the Australian supermodel – who is married to actor Orlando Bloom – got her catwalk-worthy body back by engaging in the deep breathing techniques, stretches and poses of yoga. She supplemented this holistic mind-body system with resistance training and a healthy diet.

Average women may want to experience the benefits of yoga for themselves but should focus on staying healthy for their families.

"Don't try to aspire to something that we [normal folks] don't need to aspire to," said fitness trainer Rachel Livingstone, quoted by the news source. "Just be the best you can be, and healthy and happy for your baby and your partner."
