Students will be able to push their knowledge further
When it comes to personal growth, some people choose the path of education because they believe that they will be able to use it later in life. However, when it comes to pursuing a higher degree, it is important that potential students do some research into various institutions to ensure that their needs will be met and they will receive a great value for their money.
Henley-Putnam University, which specializes in security strategies, was recently named the top online college for 2011. Last year, the institution was ranked number three.
The school has been receiving praise recently, as it was named a military-friendly school by G.I. Jobs Magazine for the second consecutive year.
School officials believe that the good press is a result of current world affairs and how it is important to have institutions that can train people for in-demand fields.
"Henley-Putnam University remains committed to training the next generation of counterterrorist, intelligence and strategic security practitioners and leaders with a unique focus on protecting our great nation through deterrence and prevention of attacks of all kinds," said Tina J. Pitt, the school's chief academic officer.
